Description
Used to precisely locate and tilt a front trunnion relative it’s original 7mm barrel pin hole. Using this gives a craftsman the ability to easily match the elusive angle that is necessary to find in order to reuse the OG pin.
Two holes that run the length of the tool are provided.
First hole has a nominal diameter of .250 for rough drilling with the opposite end being a 7mm bore that accepts a locating pin. This position is used to rough cut the majority of the barrel material out of the way.
(Next you should go in with both round files / carbide burrs and reduce as much excess barrel material left over as possible)
Second hole is a 7mm straight all the way through hole. This is the position in which you will finish ream the hole.
Includes two short 7mm drill blank pins
*Made from tool steel and specially heat treated to resist wear*
