Long Rivet Installation Box Tool

Description

Precision machined to give perfect straight up and down alignment while crushing your long rivets. Die base is relived on one side to give clearance while installing side-folder trunnions or long rivet on Yugo front trunnions.

To use:

Install receiver into box fixture. Place preformed round rivet head into bottom die.

From top side, slip back end of rivet forming punch through hex bolt and over the tail of rivet being formed.

Next tighten hex bolt. This will hold everything in place and make sure the receiver can not rise during forming.

Pull up and flip sides of the forming punch so that the riveting side of the punch contacts the rivet to be formed.

Take over to your hydraulic press and press down on forming to tool until riveting is completed.
